As Gloucestershire players began their pre-season training, Ian Harvey played in Australia's penultimate game of their six match series in New Zealand.
It is the second game Harvey has been selected for. Australia have already secured victory in the series with an unassailable 3-0 lead.
New Zealand batted first and Harvey came on first change. He bowled his ten overs for just 35 runs and took the wicket of Harris. The home side posted a decent score of 243 but this proved not to be enought for the in-form Aussies.
Michael Bevan struck 107 to guide his country to victory with over four overs to spare. Harvey was not required and was due to come in at number 8. |
