Ian Harvey played in Australia's second game of three on their short tour of South Africa.
The tour has been overshadowed by the removal of Hansie Cronje as captain of South Africa following match fixing allegations. The home side won the first game but Australia fought back to level the series.
South Africa only managed 144 with Harvey taking 0-44 off his nine overs. Harvey shared a partnership of 29 with former Gloucestershire player, Andrew Symonds. Harvey scored 11 off 11 balls as Australia won inside 25 overs.
Harvey will return to England on Tuesday morning on the same plane as Worcestershire's overseas player Glenn McGrath. The pair will be unavailable for the match between Gloucestershire and Worcestershire on the same day but Harvey will be able to play against Northamptonshire the on Thursday. |
