28 year-old Ian Harvey will miss the NatWest Semi-Final if Gloucestershire progress after being selected for Australia's one-day squad.

Harvey has a one-day ACB contract and Australia are playing three Super Challenge 2000 matches against South Africa in Australia on 16th, 18th and 20th August.

He was named in the 13-man squad which will meet at Brisbane on 9th August. Harvey will miss the floodlit match against Somerset on the 9th, a possible NatWest Trophy semi-final on the 12th or 13th, a National League match aginast Lancashire on 13th if Gloucestershire are not in the semi-finals and one or both of the Championship matches against Essex and Middlesex. He should be back in time for the NatWest Final on 26th August.

Harvey has played a crucial role in the three cup wins but Gloucestershire showed they do not rely on him in this year's B&H Cup semi-final win against Lancashire.
