Gloucestershire captain Mark Alleyne has been named in England's one-day squad for their tour of Paksitan and Sri Lanka as well as the ICC Knock-Out Trophy in Kenya.
The Kenya tournament begins on 3rd October with England's first game against Bangladesh on the 5th for the chance to play South Africa in the Quarter-Final. The final of the Trophy is on 15th October. The squad will then travel to Pakistan to prepare for three One-Day Internationals on 24th, 27th and 29th October. The one-day players can then return home before three games in Sri Lanka on 23rd, 25th and 27th March 2001.
Mark Alleyne has toured with the England one-day squad for the past two winters but is yet to play in a home international. The 14-man squad will leave for Kenya on 28th September.
Gloucestershire's overseas all-rounder Ian Harvey has been named in Australia's squad for the ICC Knock-Out Trophy and could come up against England in the quarter-finals of the competition. |
