John Bracewell has signed a new open-ended deal with Gloucestershire and has been given a new role as Director of Cricket .

41 year-old Bracewell has turned Gloucestershire into the undisputed English one-day kings and will now extend his duties to improving the youth structure as well as continuing to coach the 1st XI. Over the next three seasons he hopes to establish Gloucestershire as a leading Championship side.

Bracewell will now remain at Gloucestershire to complete his cricketing education until he inevitably becomes an international coach.
