Mark Alleyne kept wicket again for England against a Queensland Academy XI and picked up two catches.

England won the match by 49 runs after it was shortened to 38 overs per side. England scored 214 for 6 in their 38 overs and in reply Queensland could only manage 170 for 7.

Unfortunately, Mark Alleyne, batting one place higher at number 6, contributed only 2 runs to the total before getting out. This low score could perhaps hinder his chances of making his full one day international debut against Australia.

The one day team for the international match against Australia on Sunday 10th January will include members of the current test sqaud as well as the one day squad.
