Mark Alleyne has been named in England's provisional squad of 30 for the World Cup.

The squad will be reduced in size to 15 in March ahead of the competition.

Alleyne has a chance of being in the final squad because of his wicketkeeping ability and will be able to secure a place if with some good performances in Australia.

The Gloucestershire captain was dropped for the latest match against Australia which England lost. Nasser Hussain took his place.
