Victorian all-rounder Ian Harvey has agreed a one year deal with Gloucestershire as their overseas player.

The 26 year-old slow medium bowler has played 11 one-day internationals for Australia.

Nicknamed 'Freak' because of his catching ability, Harvey has a first class batting average of 26.76 and has taken 83 wickets at 37.33.

Gloucestershire will be hoping that he strengthens the batting order as well as helping to fill the 100 wicket void left by the departure of Courtney Walsh.
