The ECB is to announce that Bristol will stage a one-day interational next season.

The match between Zimbabwe and West Indies will be played on 6 July 2000 under floodlights at the County Ground. Gloucestershire proved they are capable of staging big games with two successful World Cup clashes. Zimbabwe and West Indies are joining England for a triangular tournament next summer.

Gloucestershire will keep over 10% of the gate money as well as profits from catering etc.
