| Australian Ian Harvey has been offered a new one year deal as Gloucestershire's overseas player for the 2000 season. Harvey has been instumental in Gloucestershire's two trophy successes this season and will come back next year providing he can prove his fitness. Harvey took the club record for the most wickets in the one-day league this season. Gloucestershire have recently signed four young players to release the five they released. 22 year-old batsman Chris Taylor has signed a two year deal following his 300 not out for the 2nd XI. He is joined by fast bowler Damian Forder and left arm spinner Tom Cotterell who made his first-class debut this season. Imraan Mohammed, son of former Gloucestershire player Sadiq, has signed a one year deal after his third season playing for Cambridge University. The opening bastman averaged nearly 40 in nine first-class games this season. | |||||||||
