Mark Alleyne's England A side contiuned their 34 game first-class unbeaten run with an unlikely draw against New Zealand A.
The tourists needed too bat out the last day to save the first unofficial test with just nine wickets left. Alleyne himself made 96 as England A finished with four wickets to spare.
There is a worry that the tour might have to be cancelled after Ronnie Irani went down with chickenpox. A decision will be made after the results of blood tests which the players gave. |
