31 year-old Mark Alleyne has been reappointed Gloucestershire captian for the 2000 season.

Alleyne has been captain since 1997 and last season was his most successful when Gloucestershire picked up two trohpies.

Meanwhile, the new education centre in the Jessop Stand has been opened. It was partly funded by the Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Fund.
