ENGLAND A RETURN VICTORIOUS

Mark Alleyne's England A side will return to England a victorious side having not lost a match on their tour to Bangladesh and New Zealand.

Alleyne guided the promising team to a 1-0 win over New Zealand A in the unofficial Test series and a 2-0 win against New Zealand A in the ODI series. The two first-class matches against Bangladesh finished in draws whilst England A won the one-day contest.

Alleyne himself finished the tour with a first-class batting average of 39.88 and a bowling average of 40.66. In one-day games, he averaged 59.60 with the bat and 28.88 with the ball.

Alleyne is now in good form ahead of the full England side's one day series against South Africa and Zimabawe for which he has been selected. The first match is on 20th January.

See Alleyne's Player Page for his tour averages.
