How To Use The Rushdie Section

When you click on
the Salman Rushdie option
from the main menu, you will be presented with
a photograph of Salman Rushdie and a
'overview' of the author's life.
A new menu will also appear on the left hand
side with various options to choose from.
The Further Reading option also acts, along
with the links page, as a
kind of bibliography for this site.
It might be a good idea if you have to study Midnight's Children to examine the list of other works that he has written. If there is a particular book that interests you then get it out of the library and peruse it. The best way to understand an author's idiosyncracies is to read more than one of their books in order to see what features, parallels and common concerns they share. HINT: If you want to get back somewhere that you've been before then click repeatedly and frantically on the 'back' button on your browser - you might get there sooner or later! |
