Shiva (or Siva)

Shiva Nataraja: The cosmic dancer, symbolising perpetual movement and change.
A major Hindu god. In his most beneficient aspect he is depicted as living in the Himalayas with his wife, Parvati and sons Ganesh and Skanda. He is often depicted as having a third eye in the middle of his forehead and a crescent moon in his hair. He is worshipped in many forms: Lord of the dance, naked ascetic, a fierce destroyer and lord of the beasts. Most commonly he is worshipped as the phallus, Lingam, because of he is the god of creation and procreation.

Both elements of destruction and re-generation are associated with this god. His mount is the Nandi-Bull.
