Frankby Golden Retrievers.

The village of Frankby, which inspired my affix, is situated on the fringe of acres of beautiful National Trust lowland heathland on which the dogs are fortunate to be able to exercise freely and is only minutes away from the sandy beaches bordering the Irish Sea with views of the Welsh coast and Liverpool Bay.

All the dogs live in the house together and are pets in the first instance, their show careers are of secondary importance.

In over twenty five years of owning Golden Retrievers, I have owned and bred eleven Goldens who have major Championship Show awards, including CC, Res CC, Junior Warrant and BPIS winners and I am proud of the fact that nine of them were home bred. Since my first litter in 1983, all Frankby Goldens have been tested for hereditary defects associated with the breed under applicable KC/BVA schemes.
