BAGUNCA, means a big mess. We hope it's no reflexion on the album! It's meant to be a description of the world's airwaves where we're all searching for "a simple melody, that's trying to break free from all this 'Bagunca' " catchy melodies, pounding batucadas, ethereal melodies over fast and furious jazz dance grooves. This album also features the thrilling trumpet solos of Amir El-Saffar,Azhar's brother ,and the wildly awesome flute playing of Gareth Lockrane.

Ouro Batido, meaning Beaten Gold is inspired by journeys and adventures in Brazil .We were fortunate to have Snowboy playing congas on 'Sonhador'.The album starts with the upbeat, clubby, jazz dance tunes that people love to dance to over here. Then goes into more traditional samba-pagode and bossa nova territory that they dance to in Brazil. And finishes on tracks made from loops with the baiao rhythm from the Northeast of Brazil on Ouro Batido and the modern, heavier bossa nova vibe of the last track. Ouro Batido means Beaten Gold! "Oh Brazil I'm passing through your door, the heartbeat of a nation- beaten gold that shines in the dark..." Once again their unique and uncompromising talents as songwriters and producers is revealed in the catchy melodies, nostalgic guitars, sunny beats and superb musicianship of this band.
