SIRIUS B's brand
of Brazilian music has captivated audiences in the U.K. for the past
7years. Riding the crest of the new wave of contemporary Brazilian
styles that are gaining huge popularity on the dance music scene ,
their music mixes samba and bossa nova with hard hitting dance floor
beats. The band has a broad appeal that seems to span the jazz, world
and dance audiences (often seen as separate camps) with their carnival
inspired world beats, jazz sensibilities and groovy dance arrangements. Meanwhile the regular and
explosive appearances at London's Jazz Café, especially during Snowboy's
Hi-hat sessions always hold a special place with them.
