I live in a Manchester suburb called Sale
I have written and maintain (ok used to maintain!) a couple of open source (GPL) packages....
Lukes TableGen SiteThis project has been kindly taken over by Luke Reeves and for future updates you should go to the site above. The old link is below is someone still wants to get the old code.
The project is now hosted at Sourceforge This is an application written in Java 1.1 which automatically generates classes which represent a database. You simply point it at you database and it produces a class for each table. It is designed to provide a mapping interface between relational databases and object orientated Java. It could also save you the pain of learning JDBC, which is pretty ugly. TableGen v1.8 |
JoeMirror v1.1This package allows you to keep your web pages on a local machine and then to automatically mirror these to your real web page. This package is basically obsolete as there are better tools which do the same thing, at least under linux. I still use this myself though and some people may find it useful. The code is a rather a hack though. Apologies! |
Sound codecsOpen source code for converting Dialogic OKI ADPCM is lots of other formats. I didn't write these, but I've put these all in a single place for you convenience. |
| Slashdot The best source for news. Freshmeat For the latest open source releases. |
