There are two ways of constructing a software design:  One way  is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies.  The first method is far more difficult.

One or two general points about the source code:
  1. These are the files exactly as I work on them from day to day.  No special effort has been made to sanitise them for public consumption, so you will find stuff commented-out etc.. and even some redundant elements which I have not got round to removing.
  2. I have not included Dejan Crnila's Com Port component - it is freeware, available from SourceForge.
  3. Please let me know of any improvements I could make!
