You need to create the original disk on a Microsoft OS that can make bootable disks - Once you have created the bootable floppy you can use it to check the Memory of any PC with a floppy disk) Synchromagic (A great way of doing automatic disk to disk backups of large numbers of files, has all the bells and whistles you need -it can be a bit fiddly to set up initially. Not free, but inexpensive for what it does. )
