Dell of Abernethy is "listed" because of its architectural interest and is a granite building set in 2 ½ acres of lawns and mature woodland. It is on the edge of the Abernethy Forest National Nature Reserve 1 mile from Nethy Bridge and is marked as "Dell Lodge" on O.S. and many road maps.
It was given a top award by the Scottish Civic Trust and local tourist board
for the way it has been used for holiday accommodation. Wings of the house provide four self-contained cottages
each with their own front door and car park.
Near Dell/Far Dell (2 cottages) is a modern bungalow situated in the grounds.
