I went to Lode Heath High School between September 1972 and July 1977. The School can be found on Lode Lane in Solihull just down the road from the Land Rover factory. The school fields back on to 1st Solihull Scout Group and Mill Pool Woods.

The School has set-up a "Friends of Lode Heath" The idea of this is to keep former pupils, former or current parents informed of developments at the School, as well as news of other friends and year group reunions. 

Left is an aerial shot of the school. You can work out the runway that runs between the two playgrounds. Girls on the right and boys on the left. I wonder if it is still like that today?

Mr Paul Tilley, a member of the teaching staff (1971 - present day), is co-ordinating the development of the "Friends" and is now looking to recruit a small number of willing volunteers to take it a stage further.
