GETTING THINGS UNDER WAY PAGE ONE

The Friday night was a busy night as all the equipment was installed.

Most of the sounds we use are done by computer. This is because it is easier to change the sound on PC rather on a tape deck. You can cut and past a part of a sound very easy.   Sounds can be recorded on to PC from CD or any other source that you care to think of.

We had two Pentium PC's for the show networked together so that we could share files easier. We had a 5 stake CD player, tape deck.

To pipe all this and the microphones to a 275 watt amp and the music to 3 amps.  We had 4 mixers, one of them an 8 channel mixer for the microphones and others for mixing in computers, CD's, music instruments etc.

The lighting team had two spots lights to handle. One of them a very large spot which had to given a new location at the back for Colin to use.

Mike on the lights had his Computer to hold the shows queue list for lights during the show. Big John and Tim also did the same so that the team all knew the right queue times.

So that we could all talk to each other and the crew back stage we had had hands free walkie talkies which gave great entertainment for us all.
