Phil Collins, The Man. It has been some years since I have
followed Mr Collins.
Genesis too at that time was on the up. I first saw this man in 1982 with Genesis at Milton Keynes "Six of The Best" Great music was played to a large crowd in the rain. Peter Gabriel was back as lead singer and Steve Hacket turned up at the end to help do the last number for the show. I have seen this man so many times since 1982 that I have lost count. Each time I see him he gets better and better. For 2004 he is doing a tour, which is going to be the last ever ! Last time I saw Phil was at the Nynex In Manchester back in November 1997. The stage was in the middle of the hall, which is large. Everyone sat around the stage and looked inwards. A Video is now available
The slow tracks with keyboard was done in the middle and the keyboard went round and round very slowly. If you have not seen him, then do ASAP. Dates of any tours that I hear will be posted, like wise if you know of any dates let me know.

in the 70's I was into Genesis, then in the early 80's I was, like many others,
knocked back when we heard "In the Air Tonight". His first Album was first
class.
It
was a great way for everyone to see him. Mind you Phil had to work very hard as
he had to keep moving around the stage. At times he stayed in the middle.
