Step
6: Outline fence
We
are going to place a White fence in the painting
specially to show that if you want anything White in
a watercolour, it must be the paper and NEVER White
paint.
Outline
your fence shape with a pale watery Blue and then
immediately place your Blues into a hedge shape,
which eliminates the outline of your fence. You do
not want an outline showing.

Immediately
add Yellow, or Green wash, over your hedge
shape, and then Paynes Grey, starting from the
base or your fence, and using less near the
top of your hedge.
