This is the navigational centre for "A Habit of Lies", it gives access to the various parts of the book or you may return to the Home Page. The biological arguments, current status of the field and correspondence are presented. These, I hope, offer a coherent read but chapters 11 to 15 are omitted. They may be made available for purchase, along with the rest of the book, depending upon circumstances.

Click the appropriate link to go to each chapter. The beginning of each chapter has its own table of contents to aid navigation within it, or bring you back to this page. Within a chapter click TOP , to return quickly to its table of contents. The beginning and end of each chapter has a link to take you to the next.

There is a large table of contents, listing each section of every chapter. This has a few links, but is mainly intended to help readers find a lost section without searching the entire site. Appendix 1 gives the professional addresses of some of the workers referred to in the text, while correspondence referred to is archived in appendix 2. The latter is purely an archive of letters sent and received during the early phases of this work., it is not recommended as a read and is included only to support the text of chapters 8 to 10.

The site should read on most browsers, including early versions of Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Explorer. There are some small graphics but the work is mainly text.
