My Role as a Councillor

I am the Liberal Democrat Councillor for Fulwood Ward in Hallam Constituency in Sheffield. Please contact me with any ward problems. I am also Cabinet Advisor for Strategic Projects and Devolution and sit on South Yorkshire Integrated Transport Authority.I also sit on the South West Area Panel. I was born in London; I am married and have lived in Fulwood, Sheffield since 1981

Personal Interests

I am a keen traveller. Last summer I visited Canada for the first time and spent some time walking in the Rocky Mountains.

I am also a keen chess player and used to help organise chess tournaments in Sheffield, see below for more details.

I play Chess at the Phoenix Chess Club which meets every Thursday at the Bridge Inn.

I am a keen walker; I also enjoy going to the theatre, I used to play the occasional game of golf and squash before I developed a bad back. Luckily I am still able to do quite a lot of walking. I have been fortunate enough to visit Nepal & go on the Annapurna Circuit .
