The 750 MC was the first purely Austin Seven based club.
Nowadays, they cater for many different forms of motor sport. One of
the more unusual is the Sporting Trial. In this strange event, the
aim is to get a specially developed, hand-built car, up a hill as far
as possible. These events have links back to the earliest days of the
car. Over the years the cars have changed, sometimes using large V8s,
sometimes BMC "A" series and currently favouring Honda Accord
engines, although the Hillman Imp is still in vogue.
