A long wheel-base "Ulster" type special, that was built by
the author, but now sold. Rod Yates supplied the body, which as can
be seen in this shot is longer behind the seat. All else is faithful
to the original. The extra room in the back enables two folding
chairs to be easily accommodated, something which would otherwise be
very difficult. This car took three years to build and has an engine
prepared by Tim Myall of Pigsty Racing. Speeds in the intermediate
gears at 6000rpm are 30, 48 & 65. It has clocked 78 Mph on the
test track in top gear, with more to come given sufficient bravery.

The inside of
the new inflatable cushions, these were specially made for my car, by
David Fulton. They comprise the normal new interiors he supplies, but
with an extra tube to give the correct original width and baggy look.
