19th June - Youth Team Adopted by MK & Border League for 2006-7 Season - Buckingham Town FC have been adopted into the Milton Keynes & Border Counties league for the coming season. At their AGM this week the league confirmed a late change to the competition and introduced an Under 17s and Under 18s league.

The new head of youth football, John Willshere was introduced by chairman Tony Rosenberg at the recent awards evening at Ford Meadow.
John was involved for 8 years in the Moretonville Junior Football Club in both coaching and management roles. He hopes to introduce a sustainable youth structure that supports the first team with a feed of strong young players. The team will also offer an outlet for players from Buckingham and surrounding areas to continue the development of their football in a challenging and competitive squad. Coaching will be led by a dedicated youth team coach (tba) with support and guidance from the BTFC coaching team
