I've Ordered My Tosai !!!!
After a somewhat lengthy debate, I have selected my first purchases of Tosai from the breeders Toshio Sakai, Sakazume, Shinoda and Torazo. These are due to be landed in early March.
I am informed that the Sakai Tosai Are 12 - 15cms and are particularly colourful and are of the Matsunosuke mix. Having visited the Isawa Nishikigoi Centre, I have no doubts in the quality of these Tosai.I have ordered 110 of his highest quality Tosai.
The Tosai I have ordered from Sakazume San will hopefully, be as good as the Tosai I had from him last season. Once again I have ordered 110 Tosai at 12 - 14
Last year I missed out on Susumu Shinoda's Tosai (something to do with his winning the 37th All Japan Show), but I have ordered early this year to avoid disappointment. He breeds the most fantastic Doitsu. Just look on the net for examples of his koi.I have only ordered 55 Tosai at 16 - 18cms
My final selection of Tosai come from the Torazo Koi Farm. I have been asked by many of my customers for Tancho's. When we were in Japan, The best Tancho's I saw were from Torazo. He also breeds very good Sanke and Kohaku. The Main point of the Torazo Bloodline is the Amazing white skin and the very nice patterns with very thick beni. I have ordered 100 Tosai at 13 - 15 cms and there will be a few Tancho's in this mix.
I have also ordered from two other breeders Takahashi and Hasagawa, but this is on behalf of a customers buying complete boxes.

I've had an extremely busy couple of weeks! and some of this years Tosai have arrived and are undergoing the quarantine process below are just some of the stunning Tosai which should be ready in April.
You've probably heard me say this before - these are the best I have brought in yet! once again not a single DOA! (dead on arrival)
