from Book One of

"The still waters speak of My Spirit. In stillness is your strength, for when you are still you can hear My voice. So come aside and lie beside the still waters. Calm yourself, still your mind and allow yourself the opportunity to listen to what My Spirit is saying to you. When I lead you beside the still waters and into the green pastures then stop and rest. Listen to what I want to say to you by My Spirit and feed on My word".
This book is a record of what the Holy Spirit said to the author as he spent time beside the still waters.
Beside the Still Waters is a series of prophetic meditations from book one of the Psalms (based on the New King James Version). The psalms selected are the ones that the author believed the Lord wanted him to include. These meditations were received through 'journalling'. That is, the author asked the Lord to talk to him about the psalms and then wrote down the thoughts that came into his mind as answers from Jesus and the Father. It should be remembered that we prophesy in part and that all prophecy should be judged. 1 Cor 13:9, 14:29
The psalms included are:
Psalm 1, Psalm 2, Psalm 3, Psalm 8, Psalm 14, Psalm 15, Psalm 19, Psalm 22, Psalm 23, Psalm 24, Psalm 33, Psalm 34 and Psalm 37
Psalm 1:1
AUTHOR
Lord, what does it mean to be blessed?
JESUS
To be blessed is to have shalom - that is, to be whole and
complete, to have nothing broken, nothing missing and everything
going well for you. It is to have peace - the peace that
passes understanding, for that peace comes as a result of having
perfect trust in Me and My word.
AUTHOR
What do You mean by, not walking in the counsel of the
ungodly?
JESUS
The ungodly are those who do not focus their attention on Me. They
have their own agendas, their own priorities and their own
thoughts. They give no consideration to My word or to what
I want or to what I say. Their plans and purposes are not
Mine and they do not think as I think, or see things as I see
them. If you consult with them and take notice of them they
will lead you far from Me.

Lord, how do we bless You at all times?
FATHER
My children, you bless Me when you kneel down in adoration with a
song of praise on your lips. I want you to bless Me at all
times. Now, I obviously dont want you to spend your
whole lives on your knees singing hymns of praise to Me. It
is not the kneeling that blesses Me and it is not the singing
that blesses Me but it is what they represent, what they are a
symbol of that blesses Me. When you kneel down before Me
you are saying to Me that I am your Lord and that you are
submitting your will to Mine. That blesses Me, for that
humble submission opens the door for Me to bless you. When
you are proud and arrogant, stiff necked and intent upon going
your own way and doing your own thing, then you make it
impossible for Me to bless you. It is the humble and
contrite heart that opens the door to My blessings. And I
am blessed when I am able to bless you because I love you, for
you are My children. You bless Me when you sing hymns of
praise to Me, for in your worship and giving of thanks, again, I
am able to respond to you with more blessing. So, My
children, if you are to bless Me at all times then what I require
of you is not that you constantly kneel before Me but that you
constantly have the attitude towards Me that the kneeling
symbolises. I want you to have your wills constantly
submitted to Mine. I want you at all times to be humble
before Me, to be soft and pliable before Me, seeking My will and
not your own. If you constantly have this attitude, if you
kneel before Me at all times, then I will be blessed
indeed for then you will open the door for Me to pour out
blessing upon you. And it is in blessing you that I am
blessed. Then you shall have hymns of praise on your lips
as you rejoice in what I am doing in your lives.
