LINCS ASA TREASURER’S REPORT 2008
My thanks to Guy Dix for auditing the accounts.
Our profit is unusually large this year because we planned to contribute £3000 per year to the Talent Pathway, starting in January 2008. To pay for this we had increased the competition entry fee to £4. This project has in fact only just begun, with Marc Foster the coach taking up his post on November 1st.
In addition we only had to pay one year’s corporation tax on our Standard Life deposit account. We have not been asked to contribute to Dave Carter’s employment.
Sundry creditors looks large because I have still not received a proper bill for the 2008 Champs food.
Lincs County Council has awarded Lincs ASA a grant of £9000 to be spent on the Talent Pathway @ £3000 per year for 3 years. The first monitoring report is due to Lincs County Council by 20.2.09. After the 3 years no further money will be available to Lincs ASA until 2012-13.
Entry fees, affiliation and door charges will be the same in 2009 as in 2008.
