LINCOLNSHIRE    COUNTY    AGE   GROUP   RECORD   CONDITIONS

 

1.      A record claim will only be accepted for a time achieved by a swimmer who is first claim to a Lincolnshire ASA club, whilst representing any club affiliated to Lincolnshire ASA, Lincolnshire County, East Midland Region or when competing at International level.  The swim must have taken place at an event held under ASA or FINA laws and technical rules.

 

2.      A claim for a new Record must be lodged with the County Records Officer within 28 days of the swim and must be made by the swimmer or parent or guardian, or an officer of the club.

 

3.  A record claim will only be accepted on the official claim form.

 

4.  A record will normally be ratified by the County Records Officer 28 days after the swim unless a valid later claim for an earlier swim is received during that period. 

 

5.  Details of all accepted records will be kept by the County Records Officer, displayed on the County Website and  reported to Executive committee meetings.

 

6.  A record must be achieved in a 25-metre pool or, if the swim is in a pool of a longer length, that time converted to 25 metres using ASA Conversion Tables.

 

7.  Age is as on day of swim.

 

8.  A record can be claimed in the following age groups, for both boys and girls:- 10 years and under / 11 years / 12 years / 13 years / 14 years / 15 years / 16 years / 17 years / 18 years / 19 years and over

 

9.  A record can only be claimed for the strokes and distances currently displayed on the County website.

 

10.  Any matter not covered by these conditions will be considered by the Executive Committee whose decision is final.

 

11.  Any alteration to these conditions shall only be made by a two thirds majority of members present and voting at an Executive Committee meeting.
