LINCOLNSHIRE COUNTY AMATEUR SWIMMING ASSOCIATION
50th ANNUAL COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIPS AND AGE GROUP COMPETITIONS 2001
(Under ASA Laws & ASA Technical Rules)
GENERAL INFORMATION

* All Competitors must be Registered with the ASA for the club in whose name they wish to enter, by the closing date for entries for the competition. ie 20th January 2001.
* There will be separate events and consideration times for all age groups. ie 10yrs 11yrs 12yrs 13yrs 14yrs 15yrs 16yrs and 17yrs & over.
* All consideration times refer to 25m pools and must have been achieved since 30th June 2000.
* All events will be swum as one combined event with swimmers seeded on submitted times. There will be a Championship final for 50m and 100m events.
* The 10yrs 100m Ind Medley will be HDW.
* In all 200m events the fastest three swimmers and the fastest three juniors will be awarded Championship medals. A junior is under 17yrs on 13th Dec 2001.
* In all 400m 800m and 1500m events the fastest three swimmers will be awarded Championship medals.
* The winner of each Championship will receive the perpetual trophy for one year.
* In each age group for 10yrs to 14yrs boys and 10yrs to 13yrs girls awards will be made to the top eight swimmers using the British Age Group Category Points Tables. See separate sheet for details of how these points are calculated.
* For boys 15yrs & older and girls 14yrs & older, the fastest three swimers in each event and age group will receive age group medals.
* For Boys 10yrs to 14yrs and girls 10yrs to 13yrs the winner only of each event will receive an age group medal.
* The Hon Champs & Age Group Secretary reserves the right to alter the order of events.
* Any competitor or club failing to comply with any special or general condition governing a County Championship or Age Group competition may be disqualified and forfeit any fees which may have been paid.
