Janice Walton

Janice trained at Dundee’s Duncan of Jordanston College and at Edinburgh Art College. Her expertise for many years was in pastels but recently she has moved into oils. Her subject matter, once almost exclusively the human form, now extends to still life and wildlife.
She spends several months a year in Africa and this has allowed her to develop her distinctive animal pieces.
Janice’s style has a strong sense of colour, composition and atmosphere, merging imagination with reality.
She has exhibited widely and has had four successful solo shows.
She is also happy to undertake commissions.
