Sue Munson
Sue Munson
started in embroidery in America making and selling traditional handpainted
needlework patterns. Whilst there, she became inspired by a local Sante Fe
artist and started to develop the oil pastels she does today. Back in England
she studied for a City and Guilds and attended the Pound Farm School of Painting
and Drawing under Ken Ray.
She then went on to teach Art in Adult Education at Guildford College.
Sue has exhibited widely in numerous Chertsey Artist Group Shows and the Chelsea
Arts Open Exhibition.
She now works exclusively in oil pastels and finds inspiration from the Surrey
Hills, Scotland, South Carolina and of course the ever changing vast and beautiful
sky above us..
