| Murder Mystery Parties are typically fairly inflexible, requiring a fixed number of guests, and are often very expensive. Patchwork Penguin Productions have decided to use the plot of one of Jon Thrower's plays, "Black Magic" to generate a far more flexible murder mystery. Not only can you choose how many people play, and which characters they are, but there are even multiple possible outcomes for any given character set. This means you can play the game several times with the same characters with different outcomes each time! | ||

| How It Works | ||
|
The Host of the party simply loads up this page, and goes through a simple series of steps to choose the characteristics of the party. As a minimum they can choose the number of male and female guests, but can also choose which character they want each guest to be to ensure the best match between guest and character. Ultimately, they may also be able to choose other parameters that govern the evening, depending on the number of guests. Once this is done, the Host provides the email addresses of all the party guests. The site then dispatches emails to each of the guests. This email contains an identifier. The guests log onto this site using the "Guest" page, and type in their identifier. They will then be provided with all the information they need for the party! The Host will also receive an email with a identifier. Entering this will tell them everything they need to know to prepare for the evening. |
