About John Brian WRIGHT
I was born in Bury, Lancashire and spent my youth in Lytham St Annes but have lived in Chorley, Lancashire (UK) since 1965. I retired from general medical practice at the beginning of 1999.
Married to Elsa we have a son Stephen age 52 and a daughter Rebecca age 42 and two grandsons, Christopher age 23 and Ewan age 11
My family history research begins with: Henry Wright baptised 24/7/1791 and who married Isabel Aughton (baptismal record not found) in 1812. They produced:

Richard Wright was baptised 16/8/1812 in North Meols. He married Ann Spencer 5/6/1836.

James Wright was my great grandfather who married Ann Rimmer 20/7/1862 from the village of Halsall in Lancashire. They moved to Widnes in Cheshire and produced:

Robert born 1864 died 1868
John born 23/8/1866 married Mary Ann Hollins 13/3/1889 in Widnes
Henry born 1868 married Emma Clarke 24/10/1895 in Widnes, died 1912 and buried in the Colonial Cemetery Lagos, Nigeria.
Ann born 15/9/1870 married Joseph Littler Gill in Widnes 6/8/1895
Thomas born 1872 died 1872
James born 17/9/1873 married Clara Jane Hollins 13/9/1897 in Widnes
William born 1876 married Margaret Ellen Blinston 25/11/1901 died 1906 ?abroad
Joseph born 1/6/1878 married Nellie Johnson 23/8/1902 in Southport
Samuel born 1881 died 1884
Alice born 1/10/1883 married William Walter Garstang in Widnes on 10/4/1909. William W Garstang originated from one of the many Garstangs who lived in Whittle le Woods in Lancashire.
Joseph was my grandfather and produced my father John Wright on 26/1/1905 who later married Ada Dyson from Bury who had family origins in Halifax, Yorkshire.
I am John B Wright born in 1931 and would be grateful to hear from anyone connected with any of the above names.
