This is Frances Beatrice Rock nee Wright with my mother Frances Rock and John James Rock (Jacky). Grandma is looking so thin and I think this is toward the end of the first war - about 1918.
Frances Beatrice Rock nee Wright with my mother just a few weeks old on her lap. This was taken outside her sister in laws home and Grandma is looking so tired. We recently found this photograph while visiting a cousin. Also my grandmother is so young.
Frances Rock and her brother Jacky. A formal walking day photograph. Jacky was chosen to be an attendant for the Queen of the May when he was almost six. My mother was the eldest of six children. Jacky died of Meningitis in 1923. My mother still has his little purse full of the pennies he got on that walking day which he never had a chance to spend
