Welcome to the Salford Green Party Website. Thanks for taking the time to look in on the site you can find everything you need from contact details,membership and what’s going on within the party. Unless you have been on Mars for the past few weeks you would have been all aware of the Local and Mayoral Elections within Salford. We have to be honest although we had a better than expected position in our target seat of Swinton South we struggled to gain ground in the Mayoral Elections. Failures of course the old enemy money, but putting the plus points on we had success at geting more prospective councillors on the  starting grid. So in retrospect we have to wait until  2014 for our next election test,unless Salford labour have some By elections coming up. We have to thank every one who stood for us and apologise to those who wanted to stand but due to the time constraints we where unable to gather all the nominations papers needed. We will be monitoring in great depth the performance of our Labour Mayor and his old guard cabinet very closely over the coming months and taking them to task if the promise made fail to materialise.
