Deborah Jay-Lewin began dancing with Gabrielle Roth in 1989 and was accredited by the Moving Centre, New York in 1994 to teach the WavesŪ level of the work. In January 2007, she completed the training to teach HeartbeatŪ, the emotional maps of this dance practice.
	She now teaches 5Rhythms in the Findhorn Community in Scotland, primarily her home since 1986. In addition to teaching weekly classes and workshops in Findhorn, she also travels and teaches, from places as varied as Hong Kong, Japan and Shetland to Spain and Israel. She also works with individuals and in corporate and educational settings, using the Rhythms as a tool for creative expression and managing change, stress, projects - life! Since 2005 she has used the practice in Findhorn, both physically and as a metaphor, to teach young American students on a programme called 'The Human Challenge of Sustainability' run by the Findhorn College.        See also Vital Moves and Bodysurf Scotland
