Jonathan Rees/Kathron Sturrock Duo In recital Jonathan regularly plays with the pianist Kathron Sturrock. They have played as a Duo to great critical acclaim for 15 years at such venues as the Wigmore Hall, Fairfield Halls, Purcell Room, St David's Hall, Queen's Hall Edinburgh as well as many of the Music Societies and Clubs throughout Great Britain. This seasons performances include recitals at Cheltenham Town Hall, Dillington House, Bangor University as well as Music Clubs around Britain. Repertoire will include Ravel Sonata, Debussy Sonata, Faure Sonata, Stravinsky Duo Concertante and Suite Italienne, Bartok Rhapsody # 1 and Symanowsky's Fountains of Arethuse. Jonathan will also be performing Bach Solo Sonata in G minor. |
