What we did on our holidays by Karin and sue And Josie
Monday 28th July 2003
Karin and sue Set off at 8 o’clock
from Sue’s house – josie was coming separately a different way in her car
because we had so much stuff to take
but we met josie al the toilet at
brecon - spooky 
and max The dog came too
it was a long journey but we
got to Cwmtydu at about a half past 12
When we got there we Went to the
beach and Karin and Josie got some jellies!! (the sandals not the dessert).
Karin got stung by a wasp too
But she was very brave
We had vegetable lasagne and
champagne (thank you Su) for dinner and Lizzie got pissed………tee hee hee
After dinner we went to the beach
but it rained on the way back and we got very wet
Tuesday 29th July 2003
Went to Newcastle Emlyn via Sarnau
(where there is a brilliant army surplus shop). The shops at Newcastle emlyn
were a bit disappointing except for the purple shop where Karin spent loads of
money on 2 hippy dresses and jackets.
It was cold and a bit rainy so we
lit the fire 
and
everyone had an afternoon snooze………
Later Steve cooked sausages, mash,
onion gravy and garliced courgettes – yummy yummy.
Decided Sue was going to have the
same for her 50th birthday party as it was so scrummy
so Steve will have to make 3
million pints of onion gravy.
We then had fruit salad as we
brought so much fruit with us
Wednesday 30th July 2003
Got up to go swimming but it
wasn’t just pissing with rain it was like a typhoon – so it was too rough to go
in the sea
(except for lizzie who went in up
to her waist for 5 seconds)
but came back and had breakfast anyway: egg, bacon, mushrooms,
tomato also cream scones and chocolate donuts free from Berwyn.
Then went too New Quay. Cold and horrid but Karin managed to spend
money in Jades for another pair of patchwork trousers.
Josie and Karin were going to do a
cross stitch but the sun came out………
So we cleared the path instead –
it looked superb
Well done – Gold stars al round. 
Steve cooked a
fantastic braod bean curry – praise indeed as Karin hates broad beans
[Highlight of the evening was Karin coke snorting in reverse
– due to Josie and Louise the builder]
Went to beach – calm water. Josie and Karin got their jellies wet.
Thursday 31st July 2003
Got up (after a late night for Sue
& Josie). Went to Aberaeron AFTER…………
Sulwyn seal who waved to Karin
& Josie 3 times
and then played with the 3 chickens on their holidays:
Rosie, Rhiannon and Rebecca
Rhode Island Reds
Who had a ruckus! And Rosie and
Rebecca are very special friends
[a RUTH less Ruckus because Karin wouldn’t let one of them
be called Ruth]

OK back to Aberaeron:
Bookshop (Josie happy), honey ice
cream (all happy) pretty houses
Didn’t go to beach for more runes
because……….it began to RAIN again.
Back to Glandwr (which incidentally
means beside water) for luscious soup and home made bread
Friday 1st August 2003
Said goodbye to the seaside and bought
some carrot cake and then set off back home
Boo hoo – holiday over…….however
we must mention of big concern was Max’s barking in the car:
Why?
Could it be that his paw was shut
in the tailgate?
Or that he wants to be in the
driving seat with Sue?
Attempts at counselling him were
met, not just with indifference but positive denial. (displacement activity and
walking off in the middle of the session)
A big NO to hand/paw holding ended
with willy licking (of the dog, by the dog, not the counsellor – so we shall
have to see how this progresses at a later date.
