That’s why it’s called the present

Barcelona is a huge city, a weekend was just not big enough to do it justice (especially as our outward flight was delayed - which meant we did a lot of shopping in Birmingham airport and all had time for a French manicure!).
Best was to see the city is to take the tourist bus so that you could get a good feel for the place, then go back to explore the places you really wanted to visit.
Guell Park is a must if you are a fan of Gaudi as is La Sagrada Familia..
Also the native city of Miro, and Picasso spent some of his formative years here.
Great Tapas bars ( we visited them a lot) and food uniquely Catalonian, so not quite as you expect Spanish food to be.
Las Ramblas is pedestrianised and great to wander around.
Park Guell
Antoni Gaudi was the architect for this housing site, given to the city as a permanent park in 1923.
