I loved Geneva, the only thing missing was the snow!! Although we went in December the weather was unusually warm so we had to sleep with the windows open.
The old part of town where the Cathedral is has some very steep streets, so you need to be fit but well worth the trek.
Some great department stores - a massive Co-op, but not as you know it - excellent for lunch and smokers!

We took the train along the edge of the lake to Montreux where there was a Christmas market. There were about 200 ‘chalet’ stalls where you buy everything you might need for Christmas. As well as sitting undercover for fondue and wine.
Can’t go to Switzerland without getting a Swiss watch and there is lots of choice. I came back with a very ‘bling’ watch!
