Mo The Tortoise
Mo is one of three tortoises that I own and is the biggest and the oldest at over 36 years old.
Well I inherited the three tortoises that you may go on to read about in the Tink’s Homepage site listed on the links page.
Last year I also adopted a very small tortoise called Tortie. They all went into hibernation and work up early - in March  - always a bit tense waiting for them.....
That’s all I have now but there are a lot living next door to me; snakes, cats, another dog, fish, small grandson......

The Tortoises live in a suitcase for the winter, greenhouse and garden in the summer and eat lots, and I mean lots, of lettuce (but of course only certain sorts at certain times) with the odd bit of tomato, cucumber, banana, kiwi fruit, dandelion leaves and cat food.  They are very social animals although you don’t hear them talk very much.
