Colliford lake, is located in the middle of Bodmin Moor, just to the south of the famous Jamaica Inn and close to Dozmary Pool, legendary resting place of Excalibur.

Colliford with a surface area of 365 hectares is a premier lake for traditional brown trout fishing. Plentiful bankside fly fishing stands are available and facilities at the lakeside for car parking, toilets, catering and picnic areas are well developed, although the size of the car park may limit large events. Fishing is restricted to fly fishing only.

This lake offers low priced traditional fly fishing for natural Brown Trout. It is Cornwall's premier brown trout water. Fishing is bank side only and wading is not advisable.
