West Down village is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday. The small friendly village has a well-stocked Village Store, which sells organic produce from local farms. The village pub, The Crown Inn, serves Camra Real Ales and good pub meals. Why not enjoy morning coffee, lunch or Cream Tea in the new village Tea Room and garden.
The village is ideally placed for visiting the glorious sandy beaches at Woolacombe, Croyde or Putsborough.
Exmoor National Park is within easy driving distance. The North Devon long distance path and the nearby Tarka Trail are ideal for walkers and cyclists.
Further afield visit Lynton & Lynmouth, Clovelly & the North Cornwall coast. Visit Hartland Abbey and the dramatic coast at Hartland, where the BBC filmed "Sense & Sensibility".
